The childcare statement gives a detailed breakdown of charges, payments, and any applicable fee reductions for the child’s care.
Here’s what each section means:
- Billing Month
This shows the month the charges apply to. - Statement Message
If your childcare centre has any important messages for you—such as policy updates, reminders, or notes—those will appear here. - Payer’s Name
This is the name of the person responsible for payment. - Child’s Name & Childcare Services
This section lists the services provided for your child, including dates and types of care. The amount shown is the full cost of care before any grants or subsidies are applied. - Fee Reductions (Subsidy and Grant)
Any financial assistance, such as government subsidies or grants, will be shown here as reductions from the full cost. - Payments Received
This shows any payments made after the previous statement was issued. - Previous and New Charges/Credit Summary
A summary of:- Any outstanding charges from previous months
- Payments received
- New charges for the current billing month
- Your total balance due

How to See a Breakdown of all the Fees Displayed on the Statement
Should you need a detailed breakdown of the fees issued on the statement, you can find these in the Customer Statement Billing Log Report.
To access:
- Go to Reports,
- Select Accounting,
- Select Billing,
- Select “Customer Statement Billing Log”
- Select the Location,
- Select the Payer
- Select the Statement Period,
- Select Display Name
- Select View Style = Customer Statement Billing Log
- Click GO
